Computers and networking

What can I say about computers and networking, really? I sit here using mine, typing away. I check my email, research my writing, play my online games and Google myriad things on a daily basis. I have met people online that I would never have run into without a computer, and have learned so many things through the Internet that my mind feels nearly overwhelmed. Why, just in my junk email alone today, I got my home loan refinanced, met horny women in my area while buying prescription medications and enlarging my sexual organs… and to think, if it wasn’t for the invention of the computer, none of this would be possible.

And we would never be able to get away with playing Solitaire at work with real cards…

As far as networking, I still remember when we got our first computer. Everyone wanted to use it at the same time, and it became a serious source of friction between family members. Now, years later, we currently have 7 computers in the house that can access the internet simultaneously, four wired and three wireless... two laptops and the rest desktops. We went from dialup access, to DSL, then to cable, then to high speed cable...
